Art Teacher Tips
No more messy paint tubes
What do you do with old tubes of ink and oil paint that are cracked and covered just as much on the outside of the tube as the inside? You need: cheap plastic, tape, and a sharpie. Cover the tubes with plastic, tape to secure, and write the color with the sharpie. Done and done!
Homemade Printmaking Tools
Drill a hole in an old pencil big enough for the tool you would like to use (nail, needle, pin) and stick your tool in the hole along with some guerrilla glue or hot glue. Inexpensive engraving tools!
Recycle!
Recycled paper, plastic water bottles, cardboard... really ANYTHING can be used to make super cool projects! Art may be created even on a limited budget. The "pack rat" strategy will also encourage creativity and inventiveness.
